I'd like to thank everyone for their interest in my previous auctions. Here is another hot MTG box.

Here is a product you don't see offered on Ebay too often. This auction is for one box of Magic the Gathering - Tempest Starter Decks. This is an English language box and is still sealed in it's original factory shrink wrap. Starter decks are also known as tournament decks. In these decks you can not only get all the cards that are in the preconstructed Tempest theme decks, but also any cards in the entire set. Each of the 12 decks in this box has 60 cards. Each deck is comprised of 3 rares, 9 uncommon, 26 common, 22 land, and a strategy rulebook guide.

Tempest was the 20th Magic The Gathering set and twelfth expert level set. It was the first set in the Rath Cycle, otherwise known as the Tempest Block. When released in October 1997, Tempest represented a large jump in the power level of the card set, compared to the previous Mirage block. Many of the 350 cards from Tempest instantly became (and still are) tournament staples. Tempest introduced the Medallion artifacts and Licids & Slivers. Some of the cards in this set are Altar Of Dementia, Aluren, Avenging Angel, Commander Greven il-Vec, Coffin Queen, Corps Dance, Cursed Scrool, Death Pits of Rath, Earthcraft, Eladamri- Lord of Leaves, Eladamri's Vineyard, Emerald Medallion, Furnance of Rath, Grindstone, Humility, Intuition, Jet Medallion, Living Death, Mediate, Pearl Medallion, Rathi Dragon, Reflecting Pool, Ruby Medallion, Sapphire Medallion, Scrool Rack, Timewarp, Tradewind Rider, Verdant Force and Wasteland. And there are lots of other great cards.

This is one of many sealed MTG booster, starter and theme deck boxes that I put away years ago. I'll be selling many of them in the next few months. Just remember the supply won't last forever. Tell your fellow MTG players or better yet, don't miss out yourself. Bid .bid .bid!

This box is still sealed in it's original factory shrink wrap and have been stored in a cool, dry, smoke-free environment. When shipped, the box will be packed in a waterproof bag, sandwiched in a multiple cardboard wrappers, rebagged and then carefully packed in a shipping container.

For your convenience, I accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, eChecks and balance transfers (through Paypal). Effective October 2008, eBay no longer permits me to solicit other types of payments. I have no other choice but to comply with this policy. Domestic shipping for this auction is by either USPS Priority Mail or a USPS Flat rate. You choose which method you prefer. Depending on the type of auction USPS flat rate will be my choice of either Media Mail or Parcel Post.

The way I pack it, this will be a heavy package to ship. All items are securely shipped. I bag, pack and ship all lots with extraordinary care. I pack with waterproof layers, and enough layers of cardboard and packing materials, that buyers have jokingly complained about how long it takes them to unpack! All packages will be shipped by Post office.

You can save on shipping by winning more than one auction! - I'll combine domestic shipping on all auctions won during a 3 day period. I'll make the adjustments when I send the invoice. I'll send an invoice after the first auction. If you win more, I'll adjust it. I will supply free delivery confirmation on all uninsured domestic auctions. Insurance is optional, but highly recommended on auctions that end below $50.00 - insurance is required on auctions that end at $50.00 or higher and will be adjusted on your winning invoice to the amount charges by the USPS. I'll send an invoice as soon as I can, but if you want to pay before you get the invoice, please refer to the insurance chart below. I can not be held responsible for items that are lost or damaged during transit.

All international auction winners will now be shipped by Insured, Priority Mail International. On all foreign shipments, insurance is extra & required and will be added to the final postage fee. You can't insure these other shipping methods. I want to make sure your box gets to you safely. The only other less expensive way to ship is by First-Class Mail International. In many cases, the shipping charge will be more than the winning bid. I will combine all your auctions won during a 3 day period. The pictures might not be of the specific box that I'm auctioning right now. All the boxes are in the same solid, clean, shrink wrapped condition. I will be auctioning all the boxes.
