I Would Like To Start Playing Magic The Gathering. Any Tips Or Suggestions For Playing Or Building A Deck?
I would like to start playing Magic the Gathering. I've read all the rules and regulations, and I've played the tutorial hundreds of times.
Currently, I'm leaning toward building a red and white combination deck. However, I have no idea where to start.
So I ask, are there any tips and suggestions that would help me build my red-white deck? Or some that will help me in general playing?

Axel has a pretty good answer.
Let’s start at basics: a deck should ideally be 60 cards, with 24 lands, 20 -30 creatures and the rest other spells. If you’re building a red-white deck, I suggest a fast beatdown deck, where you overwhelm your opponent with small creatures that have superior abilities, like first-strike, double strike and haste. Look into this theme deck: http://www.wizards.com/magic/displaythem... for ideas. Since you’re a starter, you shouldn’t try to build a deck at all, buy a theme deck instead.
